We have hiked to the summit of this peak,
Through hanging clouds, early in the morning
Just to see what the rising sun does seek,
And the sights that we wait to see forming.
The mist will cling to the top of the mountains,
Fighting against the heat of this near star,
But as the day progresses, what remains
Is wisps dancing in the air for afar.
Below is revealed the greatest sight,
A town hidden from civilization
Which, at one time, reached the greatest of height,
But now hides in history’s rotation.
The only way we know how it begun,
To speak of memories with the day’s sun.
